SMT China magazine, published by ACT International in Hong Kong, will be hosting The 6^th SMT China Vision Awards Presentation Ceremony on April 25, 2012 at 16:00 in Nepcon Visitor Lounge, Hall One, Nepcon China Exhibition.

　　Despite the world economy is still going slow, China’s electronics manufacturing market remains strong in 2012. Both international and domestic providers of SMT equipment, materials, software and services have made outstanding contributions to the rapid growth of China’s electronics manufacturing industry by their inventions and innovations. To recognize their contributions, SMT China magazine is pleased to sponsor the 6th SMT China Vision Awards program. SMT China magazine launched the SMT China Vision Awards in 2007. This is an international accreditation for China's electronics manufacturing market.

　　To ensure professionalism, independence, and fairness in the assessment of SMT China Vision Awards, a distinguished panel of independent judges will select the winners. The judging panel includes recognized industry experts and professors in the field of electronics manufacturing technology, while a second panel of judges will be selected from SMT China readers who work in the fields of communications, industrial electronics, computing and peripherals, consumer electronics, automotive electronics, EMS and OEMs in China. The judging criteria will emphasize on Creativeness and Advanced nature of the entries and their contributions in helping the downstream industry to reduce Cost, improve Quality, increase Efficiency, enhance Reliability, ensure Safety and protect the Environment.

　　Any entry deemed by the judged to be of both Creativeness and Advanced nature and meet at least one of the other 6 criteria for selection will receive the SMT China Vision Award. Winning companies have the right to display the SMT China Vision Award Winner logo on their winning products or service.
